first_img Game of Thrones Season 8 is almost here and to get everyone ready for the April 14 premiere, a group of German students revealed the ultimate algorithm that predicts who will most likely live or die during the show’s final season.Computer tech students at Technical University of Munich created an application that searches the internet for data on the Game of Thrones series and uses an algorithm to predict which characters will survive and not be killed by the end of Season 8, Associated Press reported. The current results? Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen has the highest chance of survival at 99 percent, while sellsword Bronn is the most likely to die right away.Looking forward to seeing the accuracy! Even though the analysis “relies on data taken from the world of fantasy, the exact same artificial intelligence techniques are used in the real world,” he said. So, which Iron Throne contenders are most likely to make it through the White Walker invasion? Tyrion Lannister has the second best survival rate at 97.5 percent and Jaime Lannister has a 96 percent survival rate. The most likely to perish? Gregor Clegane has an 80.3 percent chance of dying, while Sansa Stark and Bran Stark each have a 73.3 percent and 57.8 percent chance of being killed, respectively.Of course, nothing is set in stone, since Game of Thrones can be unpredictable when it comes to alliances and new threats.
